"True Life
Stories - The Loss of a Loved One and the High Cost of Dying" is
a 48 minute high quality DVD. It is designed to motivate viewers to
plan for the future and protect their families with life insurance.
Many viewers have told us that this video is the strongest motivation
they have ever had for reviewing the status of their life policies.
In the video,
seven people talk about the loss of a loved one and the financial insecurity
which followed that loss. Many of them also talk about the high cost
of dying. Each of the seven individuals is featured in a five to seven
minute segment. The DVD is very effective in either a group setting
or with individuals in a "point of sale" setting.
The producer/narrator is Dr. C. P. Harding who has spoken to Insurance Agents all over the
United States about life insurance. According to Dr. Harding, who speaks
from personal experience, the Life Insurance Agent is often "the only
person who brings anything positive to a grief-stricken family after the loss of a loved one." In this
video, and in his talks around the country, Dr. Harding says "after
a death, the dollars from those life insurance policies put food on
the table, those dollars pay the rent or mortgage payment, and in some
cases those dollars literally hold families together." His message to
agents is that theirs is a "noble" profession and that they
deserve tremendous respect for the work they do. He stresses the need to have a plan for the future, and says that "grief alone is hard enough to bear...grief coupled with financial insecurity is almost unbearable."
Dr. Harding has spoken at major meetings for State Farm
Insurance, American Family Insurance, Country Insurance and Financial Services,
Northwestern Mutual Insurance, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, and others.
He has spoken at meetings for NAIFA, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
His video is used by Life Insurance professionals and financial advisors all over the United States and Canada.
