A Message from Dr. C.P. Harding
C. P. Harding has spoken about the need for life insurance to hundreds of groups of insurance professionals and his videos are being used by insurance professionals all over the United States and Canada. Dr. Harding is not a life insurance expert. He speaks from personal experience about the loss of a loved one and both his presentations and his videos reflect an understanding of the problems faced by those who have lost a loved one. He is "passionate" about the importance of life insurance.
His message to life insurance professionals is that theirs is a "noble" profession and they deserve tremendous respect for the work they do. According to Dr. Harding, the life insurance professional is often "the only person who brings anything positive to a grief-stricken family after the loss of a loved one." In his videos, and in his talks around the country, Dr. Harding says "after a death, the dollars from those life insurance policies put food on the table, those dollars pay the rent or the mortgage payment, and in many cases those dollars literally hold families together." He stresses the need to have a plan for the future, and says that "grief alone is hard enough to bear but grief coupled with financial insecurity is almost unbearable."
Dr. Harding has been a featured speaker at meetings for State Farm Insurance, American Family Insurance, Country Insurance and Financial Services, Northwestern Mutual Insurance, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, and others. He has also spoken at meetings for NAIFA, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
